American Access Auto Insurance Claims

American Access Casualty Company handles claims the same as many other auto insurance companies. However, you can only contact them through their local phone number or managing your policy online.

Follow the next few sub-sections to learn how to manage your American Access auto insurance claim.

American Access Insurance Company offers non-standard automobile insurance products like the aforementioned SR-22 auto insurance.

Generally, as noted by the Insurance Information Institute (III), this means it will give insurance to individuals who may not qualify for insurance elsewhere and maybe looking at American Access auto insurance for full coverage.

Since it offers these services, there are more likely to be a higher number of complaints filed.

If an Accident Happens

When you get into an accident, be sure to contact local law enforcement to report the accident. Right after your phone call with law enforcement, contact American Access auto insurance claims at (630) 645-7755. They will walk you through the next steps.

These steps often involve the other driver’s name, the location of the accident, and what damage your vehicle has. American Access Casualty Company may require more. Read the next section for more details.

After an Accident

You may have to include more details about your accident, such as photos and a police report. American Access auto insurance claims can be managed through its website.

Just use your policy number and claim number to find your claim. Contact American Access agents if you have any questions about the status of your auto insurance claim.

How American Access Auto Insurance Handle Repairs

All repairs made are done through the appropriate coverage options. If you were at fault in the accident, collision auto insurance would cover the vehicle damage costs. If your car is a total loss, American Access auto insurance may replace your vehicle.

If you’re not at fault, the other party’s auto insurance should take care of your repairs. Drivers who don’t have enough on their coverage limits to cover the cost of damages could put you in a bad situation. To prepare for this event, purchase underinsured motorist coverage.

In some states, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage is required, and it’s attached to liability coverage.

Consider adding uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage to your auto insurance policy to be prepared for particular situations like this.

American Access’ Auto Watch program is an attempt to lower this by allowing customers to check on their vehicle’s repair progress by inputting their claim number.

American Access Casualty Company Insurance Coverage Options

American Access Insurance Company specializes in auto insurance coverages. It currently does not offer any additional insurance products to its clientele.

It offers insurance to customers who have a Mexican or other international driver’s license. It is also able to provide insurance for those without driver’s licenses. Learn how to get car insurance without a license.

According to its website, American Access Insurance Agency specializes in insurance directed toward the Hispanic community. Here are some details regarding coverage from American Access:

  • Coverage has affordable premiums
  • American Access offers low down payments
  • It offers same-day insurance
  • It offers installment payment plans
  • SR-22 Insurance coverage is offered
  • It has excellent claims and customer service
  • It accepts Mexican drivers
  • It accepts international customers
  • It covers those with no driver’s licenses

American Access Insurance Company also provides cheap SR-22 auto insurance. SR-22s are for drivers who have been labeled high-risk by most insurers.  If you find it hard to get affordable rates elsewhere, you should consider getting a quote from American Access Auto Insurance.

Not every insurer even offers SR-22s due to a lack of desire to cover a driver seen as high risk. Still, all but eight states require them for high-risk drivers: Delaware, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.

The company’s site warns of the dangers of not carrying insurance coverage and stating that its mission is to ensure that any potential clients have proper coverage.

Before we continue, let’s take a look at the ramifications for not having insurance coverage in each state.

The broker hardly ever answered calls and never attempted to get back to me. I still can't open my driver's side door even though they should've repaired my vehicle because of the other driver's front bumper damage. Instead after 6 weeks of dealing with them they sent me a letter denying my claim. This company is only good for keeping you from getting traffic tickets for non-insurance compliance. Steer clear from this shady company!

Looking for something new

My premiums keep going up every time I renew my policy, even with no new claims. I do like that I can pay online, but I'm currently looking elsewhere.

Beware

This company is a rip off. They do not return calls regarding claims and have rude staff. Not worth the price.
