Scroll down for a closer look at how Aspire compares to the top three most popular car insurance companies in the U.S.

Aspire General Insurance vs. State Farm Insurance

Aspire General Insurance Company targets high-risk drivers and delivers non-standard auto insurance coverage to people who fail to obtain traditional coverage because of their driving violations, DUIs, or poor driving histories.

Aspire general auto insurance review: DUI definition card

State Farm serves a broad spectrum of drivers through its affordable policies, which extend protection for safe drivers with discount rates but charge more for high-risk drivers than an Aspire insurance policy. Read more in our full review of State Farm auto insurance.

Aspire General Insurance vs. Geico Insurance

Characteristics of the auto insurance market divide Aspire General Insurance from Geico because they operate toward different customer groups. This drives customers to Geico to receive affordable monthly premiums thanks to its reputation of competitive rates, diverse discounts, and coverage options.

Through its specialized insurance schemes, Aspire provides policy options to customers needing coverage despite imperfect driving records.

Jeff Root Licensed Insurance Agent

Geico chooses not to provide insurance coverage to drivers who exhibit significant driving risk through several violations or DUI offenses. High-risk car owners can find insurance through Aspire General Insurance even if Geico denies them coverage.

Aspire General Insurance vs. Progressive Insurance

Aspire General Insurance and Progressive operate in the high-risk driver market. The wide selection of discounts, including multi-policy and safe driver benefits from Progressive, enables them to provide affordable rates for particular policy seekers in their high-risk market.

Our complete Progressive review goes over this in more detail. Aspire General Insurance operates in the market, providing non-standard auto insurance to high-risk drivers yet giving fewer discount options than Progressive, which leads to potential premium price increases for certain customers.

Aspire General does not want to pay for the car damage

I am not an Aspire General Insurance Policy holder. But my car got rear ended by their insured person. They don't pay even their insured person is at fault. They said that I have to pursue directly with that person. What kind of insurance company is this? the worse? Besides the person from Aspire on the phone is so rude, he just wanted to find out way not to pay for the damages.

Snakes

This company is sneaky. If you are on auto pay they automatically enroll you into a new contract every 6 months. You aren’t given a grace period to cancel just a fee

Save yourselves some trouble get a different insurance

Horrible experience. A person ran a red light and hit my car. My claim adjustor [REDACTED NAME] never made me feel like he was on my side and was always very rude on the phone. He never resolved anything and sided with the other party. Worst car insurance ever. I had other problems with them before because they lack responsiveness and reliability.

Don't waste your time/money please listen to me

I have 2 cars full coverage insured with this company and I had a minor accident and its been over 1 month since I have heard nothing from the person that is responsible for my estimate. I keep calling and calling and nothing. No answer. Just a "leave a message" recording. I have decided this is my last month with Aspire. I pay for full coverage and I expected a lot more priority for my money that I pay them. Completely unsatisfied. Bye bye Aspir...

General Aspire isn't a good company

I had got myself an auto insurance set up with Fiesta Auto Insurance and Tax Services. I later ended up finding another insurance company that better suited my needs and canceled my insurance through Fiesta last November. Talked to the man who canceled the insurance through Fiesta and told me that everything was set I needed to do nothing else. I thought I was done since I hadn't been charged the amount I would normally pay for November. December went by and without realizing I got charged the amount I was paying for the insurance I had cancelled. January came by and I finally realized I had been charged for the December month as well. I noticed on my bank statement that Aspire General were the ones charging me. I called Aspire's customer service number and after they had me go back and call Fiesta. Apparently Fiesta uses Aspire as a broker for their customers payments. Fiesta Auto send me back to Aspire because they were done on their end of the cancellation. The customer service representative at Aspire told me that it was my fault and that it was my duty to contact Aspire General to discontinue their services. Which I didn't know of in the beginning. Bad communication with this. I won't be getting a refund on the months charged for while I wasn't with Fiesta. I tried asking the Aspire General service representative why I wasn't charged for the month of November then if technically my services with them wasn't cut off. None of my questions were given a direct answer. I honestly feel I wasn't charged in November (the month I cut off my services with Fiesta) because they want to make it seem like they aren't going to be making you pay and come back the next month to make you pay and keep paying until you notice. Like sneakily making you pay. On top of that, you must pay a 25$ fee for canceling them charging amounts to your card at Aspire General. Bottom line, never again. I would love to give no starts for this entire situation.

Very bad people that work with aspire. I can't even go see my dying dad now because I have no car. Having lung, bone, skull, femur and hip cancer. Idk when he is going to pass and when he does I won't have a way there thanks to aspire. So please don't use this company because they are shady as [REDACTED WORD] and don't care. They make you pay every month to just screw you when you need them most.

4+ months to close out a claim

I got in an accident NOVEMBER 9th. It is now MARCH 8th and my claim has not been paid out. They've had me send a paper in like 3 different times, turns out they just lost it. They found It two weeks ago and supposedly everything should be closed soon.... Nope. Nothing at all. Worst insurance ever I wouldn't get it again even if it was a dollar a month.

I recently purchased a policy and I am very happy with the services provided. It is unfortunate that I had to file a claim (no one likes to be involved in a car accident), but the process was not a headache like I expected. [REDACTED NAME] [REDACTED NAME] my claim representative is amazing, answered all my questions and always a call or email away. Thank you for being great !
