The rates and communication with the local office are very good, and an auto claim I had a number of years back went well, no complaints there. However, I recently filed a claim on the inland marine policy where 2 pieces of covered farm equipment were damaged and out of service. I filed the claim with the local office. They told me an adjuster would be contacting me within a day or two. A week later there had been no contact so I called them back. They gave me the adjuster's phone number and I called him. I got a recorded message on a Friday that he was out of the office and would return Monday, and to leave a message. I did so, and waited another 7 days with no contact from the adjuster. At this point, I could no longer operate without the damaged equipment, canceled the claim and began repairing it at my expense. One repair is completed and one is underway. As a result of this experience I am re-examining who I am buying my insurance from.

The best insurance company around. Friendly staff and very timely claims adjusters. I've never had a problem with them and I recommend them to everyone. They make you feel like family instead of a number. If my payment is late or closer to termination they call and email me to ensure I make my payment before it terminates.
